Samcheok Cave Travel(Daegeumgul Cave/ Hwanseongul Cave) [Natural Monument, No. 178]
You can take a mono rail from station to enterance of Daegeumgul and Hwanseongul cave. In the cave, a guide provides detailed explanation of the cave so that visitors can enjoy the sightseeing in a more enjoyable and safe way.
Jukseoru Pavilion
This is a pavilion built in Joseon Dynasty and located on the cliff. Below of Jukseoru, Osip Chon(五十川) river is stretched out.
* Jukseoru coming-of-age ceremony is held on the third Monday May every year.
Marine Rail Bike
With total length of 5.4km, it is operated in double line along with beautiful East coast line. It is a good place to make enjoyable memories with beloved people.

Festivals
The New Year Festival
This is one of Samcheok’s representative winter festival held on Jan 1st annually. Along with a coast road, citizens and tourists gather together hoping the old year out and the new year in.
Location: 5 places (Breakwater at Limwon Port, Namaepo Port, One Inch Hill, Tower of Hope, Daetjae Pass)
Jeongwol Daeboreum Festival
Jeongwol Daeboreum Festival is held together with Samwonje and other plays to pray for rich year and rich fishing to the gods of heaven, the Agriculture God and the God of Sea.

Maengbang Rape Flower Festival
Rape flower festival is held on every April. The festival site mingles with rape flowers, cherry blossoms and East coast line. It’s a good place to make good memories with beloved family and friends.

Jangho Fishing Village Experience Festival
This is held at Jangho Port, known as ‘Napoli of Korea’. Following activities are ready for the visitors; (fishing village experience, canoe, snorkeling, catching of fish with hands, duck boating, fishing life of fisher experience a day, fish trap (Tongbal), sea chestnut catch and boat fishing experience).

Food
Gomchi Soup
Gomchi, often called as Mulmegi in other regions of Korea, is famous for its taste and effectiveness for hangover. As original food of Samcheok, Gomchi soup shows soft and clean taste when boiled with ripened Kimchi.
Traditional Wine(Fire Wine/ Corn Wine)
Bul Sul (Fire Wine): This is a traditional wine of Samcheok made by using rice, malt and leaven. As it uses straw fire(heat generated by burning straws), it is named as fire wine.
Oksusu Sul (Corn Wine): Corn Wine is one of representative traditional wines of Samcheok made by using corns and malt which are the main regional product of Gangwon-do.
Sliced Raw Fish
Similar to Japanese Sashimi, sliced raw fish is especially fresh in Samcheok available all year round.
